painaltyA mysterious Caster who divulges little about his personal life and possesses a steady hand with magecraft that children appreciate. I worry, however, that he distances himself from others more than I do.
The epitome of loyalty and strength. Dependable whether in or out of battle, unfazed by our new circumstances, and never a stranger.
C'est compliqué. She is my queen, a valuable ally and friend, and so much more. Marie has welcomed me many times into her arms and onto her lips, never deeming me unworthy or unforgivable. But I don't know how or why the warmth in my heart increases for her every day.
I don't deny his battle prowess and his aptitude for traps and tricks, but I likewise can't deny that he can be extremely difficult when he decides to insult me for everything from breathing to existing.
Energetic and overbearing. I feel like I need a long, quiet break after I put up with her.
Talented and deadly with his bow/harp. It seems I haven't spoken to him in a while; I do hope he's well.
My roommate. A learned man of justice, although recently I've found myself assuming the dual roles of personal doctor and babysitter for his sake, as well.
My contracted Master. Wise and able beyond her years, and formidable in battle. She and I are alike in some ways; perhaps that lends to our compatibility?
A very helpful young man who coincidentally shares the same name as a famous author, although I feel like there is more to him than meets the eye.
We met because we were both looking out for a common friend. He's very good friends with Caster, though has no trouble leaking Caster's "weaknesses" to me.
Marie's Master. Unexpectedly, my past and my connection to Marie opened like a book before him. Has a bit of a reckless streak, but hopefully Marie will keep him in line.
He never forgot the time I helped him understand his communication device. Though not very outgoing (which isn't a problem for me), he is reliable enough.
I was forced to reveal to him an embarrassing secret about me - about Marie - but Bardo turned out to be a good listening ear. I think I can trust him to keep this between us.
A girl from the same world as Master. Ruby is energetic and cheerful, but also a skilled fighter I can count on to watch my back. Age truly isn't everything.
